Clarks Originals

Founded by brothers James and Cyrus Clark back in 1825, Clarks Originals is one of England’s most notable heritage brands. In its early years, the label specialized in slippers and later used that shoemaking insight to branch out. Clarks Originals grew in popularity at the start of the 20th century – the style-conscious British customer was drawn to its modern designs and quality craftsmanship. Today, the brand’s famous desert boots have been adopted by different counterculture groups, including Jamaica’s Rude Boys and members of New York’s hip-hop movement.
